The dome test

Finally, we have been done a good job in producing the bamboo dome. We did not sink and can balance when three of us stand up. Last but not least we can also change our position.

The craft we make finally have been float for 6 minute and we also stand up and change position inside. So, we have success make a Floating UFO aim to use when disaster come.

ASSIGNMENT 2: REAL CONSTUCTION

Before we start, we need to confirm the radius that we want to use in this geodesic dome. We can use the http://www.desertdomes.com/ to determine the size and how many V of the geodesic dome to be.

And then we need to prepare the tool below....

The bamboo satay stick must be measure according to the length suggested by the website http://www.desertdomes.com/ . My bamboo satay stick is about measurement below ,

Next, we need to be joint all of 3size of bamboo satay stick as the pattern below...

After that, we suppose to combine all of five triangle shape of bamboo satay stick as one shape..

VIRTUAL CONSTRUCTION

Why I have this picture as my first picture in this blog...

This is because 'BUKIT GAMBIR' is my hometown.

Haha, I just come back in this weekend. I have been one month not in here.

Waaa, this my most favourite place in my hometown. Marrybrown is one of the

familiar restoran in here. But, that is not a point in here, what we can see from this

picture is the building around Marrybrown. The building in the picture was built for

comercial purpose. After that, we can also find out that the road planning in this place

is all related to the principle in the management at this town.

Whereas, the picture above indicates the principle, place and the people also. We can

see the old people maybe waiting his family to come out from the shopping mall. The

palce in there is Bukit Gambir KINI shopping mall, and then the old people and the

other one is the actor in this mall to buy the goods that they want. Lastly, the visitor

to this mall is also need to follow the rule of the mall. They have to parking their car in

the suitable place.

I also want to explain to all of you that the element in this picture is intention, act and

product. We can see that the signboard which write " TECK HONG ENTERPRISE

SDN.BHD." As we know, the intention that the designer design this signboard is to

tell public people what business that the shop run. And then, the designer act to

colour and draw the graphic letter in the signboard. After all the work of design was

done, the signboard as the product was produced.
